Berri signs laws approved by the Council to refer them to head the Council of Ministers

The president of the parliament, Nabih Berri, signed the laws approved by the parliament in the session of 12/21/2020 for submission to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

It should be noted that Parliament, in its last session, approved 14 laws:

– Modification of the name of “Aramati” to read “Arama”, District of Jezzine.

The events of the Mount Hermon Nature Reserve.

Authorization to enter into a collaboration agreement between the Republic of Lebanon, the Greater United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

Establishment of a real estate area for the municipality of Ghobeiry.

– Modifies Law 293 of 2014 to protect women and other family members from family violence.

Criminalize sexual harassment and rehabilitate its victims.

– Extension of Law N ° 107 of 11/30/2018, Extension of Zahle Electricity.

– Extend the validity of the provisions for suspending legal procedures related to grace periods derived from non-payment of loans.

Exemption for cars that were left out of service as a result of the Zionist aggression against Lebanon in July 2006.

– Protect the funds of the National Social Security Fund and the insured benefits.

– Modify the law on the practice of the pharmacy profession to approve generic drugs.

Exemption from the annual traffic tax for the years 2020 and 2021 for motor vehicles, motorcycles and private and public motor vehicles prepared for rental.

Correct the name of the village (Za’arabtaghrine) in the name of the village of (Zghartegrin) in the North Governorate, Miniyeh-Denniyeh district

– Suspension of the provisions of the Banking Secrecy Law issued on September 3, 1956 for a period of one year
