As of Saturday, the number of new infections with the coronavirus in Lebanon rose to 156,570, after 1,626 new infections were recorded in the last twenty-four hours, while the number of deaths rose to 1,270 after 11 new deaths were recorded. .
And the Ministry of Public Health announced in its daily report on the developments of the Corona virus, that 1626 new cases of Coronavirus were registered during the last 24 hours, including 1611 among residents and 15 among arrivals, which raises the accumulated number of cases confirmed to 156570 as of February 21 (February). last.

The ministry added that 11 new deaths were recorded during the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,270 since February 21.

The Lebanese Interior Minister in the interim government, Mohamed Fahmy, took the decision to ban curfews from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., as part of general mobilization measures to confront the spread of the Coronavirus

The decision includes determining the occupancy of restaurants at (50%), as well as nightclubs, bars and discos.

The decision also allows weddings, funerals, social events and parties with a capacity of (25%) at home and (50%) abroad, provided that the application of health conditions and preventive and public safety measures is carried out. .

On March 15, the Lebanese Council of Ministers announced the general mobilization to confront the spread of the Coronavirus, and extended the general mobilization until 03/31/2021.
