The Lebanese judicial investigator in the Beirut port bombing case, Judge Fadi Sawan, postponed the questioning of the two former ministers, Ali Hassan Khalil and Ghazi Zuaiter, as defendants, until next January 4.

The “National News Agency” said on Wednesday that this occurred after the two ministers were absent from the session that was scheduled for today, and the absence of an official response indicating whether they received the notification notes and reported their content.

On August 10, the Lebanese government forwarded the file of the Beirut bombing to the Judicial Council headed by Judge Sawan.

In the previous period, three defendants in the Port’s explosion file were detained in absentia, in addition to the 25 detainees arrested in front of the file.

In the case of the Beirut port explosion last Thursday, the judicial investigator accused Acting Prime Minister Hassan Diab, former Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil, and former Public Works Ministers Ghazi Zaiter and Youssef Fenianousi, guilty of negligence and negligence.
