Trump: the United States Supreme Court has let us down

After the United States Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit filed by the state of Texas with the support of President Donald Trump, seeking to cancel the election results in four states, Trump said in a tweet on his Twitter account: “The Supreme Court it failed him and showed neither wisdom nor courage. “

On Friday, the Supreme Court declined to consider a lawsuit filed by Texas authorities to overturn the results of the presidential election and rejected other related allegations.

The states in which Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton called for the presidential election results to be overturned are Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, all of which are crucial.

While the top two voters are expected to mobilize to confirm their votes, Trump continues to refuse to acknowledge his defeat to Democrat Joe Biden, claiming the election was “stolen.”

In the absence of concrete elements to back up Trump’s election fraud allegations, most of the complaints filed by his allies across the United States were dropped in court.

More than 120 Republican members of Congress had joined the measure, despite strong criticism from legal experts.

The move paves the way for confirmation that President-elect Joe Biden will be the country’s 46th president.

It is the second time in recent days that the court has overturned the Trump team’s efforts to overturn the election results.

Last Tuesday, judges rejected the attempt by Republican Rep. Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania and others to block the results of the elections in the state.
