US President Donald Trump lost a major legal battle as the US Supreme Court rejected the lawsuit filed in Texas, which demanded that Democrat Joe Biden’s victory be overturned in 4 crucial states.

The lawsuit was presented directly to the Supreme Court, demanding the annulment of the election results in the states of Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, which preliminary results indicate that Joe Biden won in it.

The justices of the Supreme Court voted by a majority of 7 justices to two, and among those who rejected the case were three justices appointed by Trump to the Supreme Court.

Donald Trump had high hopes for this lawsuit, which was brought by the Attorney General in Texas, which has been joined by some other states, as Trump described it as a “great case.”

The Supreme Court ruling deals a severe blow to Trump’s efforts to challenge the election results, which Biden won.

The Supreme Court had rejected the Republicans’ claim to cancel the 2.5 million votes mailed in Pennsylvania. Other courts in various states rejected several other lawsuits calling for a review of the voting results.
