In a parallel line of sanctions, US sources announced that the United States intends to impose sanctions on Turkey for the purchase of a Russian missile defense system.
On the other hand, Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said last Wednesday that punishing his country for the purchase of Russian S-400 missile defense systems would be very counterproductive and would harm Turkish-US relations.
