The Minister of Education of the interim government, Tareq Al-Majzoub, tweeted on his Twitter account, writing: “People remember me as a former minister of education.”

He added: “But it sure is not like anyone else, a modern precedent of lies and inventions.”

Al-Majzoub’s tweet came in response to the words of a member of the “Strong Lebanon” bloc, Representative Elias Bou Saab, in an interview with the program “The time has come” on the MTV channel, in which Bou Saab said: “The Minister of Education of the interim government, Tareq Al-Majzoub, promised to give one million Lira for each student. I said this as it was declared not applicable and is equal to the cost of the chain.”

He continued: “We lost millions of dollars in donations due to the postponement of the Minister of Education, because the scenario is exceptional and an exceptional minister capable of making decisions was required.”

He added: “The day I was Minister of Education, I got a loan of $ 100 million without interest plus a grant of $ 100 million! But the current minister did not sign it and accused me of stealing money in false reports and electronic armies, and the money they talk about is still in the World Bank. “
