The minister called on European countries to fulfill their promises towards Turkey and its hosting of refugees, saying: “The agreement must be honored and not put Europe’s security at risk.”

Borrell explained that the issue of European relations with Turkey will be decided by EU leaders at the December 10-11 summit, and that the foreign ministers will provide information to the leaders before their summit.
