In reference to the effectiveness of the emerging anti-coronavirus vaccine developed by the American company “Pfizer” and the German company “Biontech”, the US Food and Drug Administration announced this Tuesday that the effect of the new product appears to starting with the first dose.

Studies have shown that the “Pfizer” and “Biontech” vaccine are 95% effective and work for all age groups.

The US Food and Drug Administration added that “the Pfizer Corona vaccine is consistent with our recommendations,” in an apparent indication of the imminent issuance of a permit for its distribution in the United States.

The authority advised people who had previously had a crown to receive the vaccine, as “they can become infected again and the vaccine can also be beneficial for them.”

But the US newspaper “Washington Post” reported on Tuesday that “Pfizer” had informed US officials that it could not obtain large quantities of the vaccine it was developing with “Biontech” until next summer.

The newspaper added, citing sources familiar with the matter, that “this impossibility is due to the fact that other countries rushed to buy most of the quantities produced by the company or those it intends to produce in the coming months.”

He said the provision of massive additional quantities of the vaccine could be possible in late June or July 2021.
