The British Daily Mail newspaper reported that a royal employee confessed to stealing possessions worth £ 100,000 from Buckingham Palace, the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II.

London police arrested a royal clerk on suspicion of stealing various items from Buckingham Palace.

The British newspaper reported that Adamo Cantu, a 37-year-old servant in the royal palace, stole a knight’s medal belonging to the head of the royal court, Sir Anthony Johnston Burt, and sold it at auction on the “eBay” website for 350 lbs.

The man is also charged with stealing another royal warrant from Matthew Sykes, who served at the royal court from 2007 to 2010.

In addition, Canto confessed to stealing other items, including signed photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton, and a photo album of the royal state reception during the visit of US President Donald Trump.

Canto listed 37 of the stolen items for sale on eBay at prices well below their true value.

A district judge released Kanto on bail and sent his case to another court for resolution, warning him that he could face a prison sentence.

In short, not all the stolen items were recovered, while Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the incident.
