Protests resumed in Iraq on Sunday night, after an absence coincided with the spread of the Corona virus in the country. Several areas, especially Basra to the south and Najaf, saw hundreds of young protesters flock to the squares. A security source reported the murder of a protester and the injury of 4 others in the Basra governorate in the south of the country at night, while activists said he was killed by militia fire.
