Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Friday that there are clear indications that Israel was involved in the assassination of the Iranian scientist.

“The terrorists who murdered an Iranian academic today, Friday, realize that this is a cowardly act,” Zarif said in a tweet on his Twitter account.

The Iranian Foreign Minister added: “There are clear indications of Israeli involvement, showing the desperate aggression of the perpetrators.”

Zarif added that “Iran calls on the international community, especially the European Union, to put an end to the shameful double standards and condemn this terrorist act committed by the states.”

The Iranian media had announced the assassination of the Iranian nuclear scientist, who specializes in the field of nuclear missiles, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who works as the head of the Research and Innovation Authority in the Iranian Ministry of Defense.

It is worth mentioning that scientist Fakhri Zadeh is one of the most prominent Iranian nuclear scientists that Israeli intelligence seeks to assassinate, and Netanyahu announced his name two years ago at a press conference.

According to Iranian agencies, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu years ago pointed out the danger of this world, and published his picture during a presentation in which he spoke about the escalation of Iran’s nuclear capacity in recent years, which coincided with the announcement of the United States to withdraw from the nuclear deal with Iran. .
