US President-elect Joe Biden announced that the Donald Trump administration has already begun communicating with its transition team.
Biden described the efforts made by the Trump administration as “sincere,” and this comes a day after the General Services Administration issued a letter to officially begin the transfer of power.
“We have contacted all federal agencies, they are already working on my ability to get daily presidential briefings,” Biden said in a television interview.
He continued: “We are already working to meet with the anti-Covid-19 team at the White House, and how to distribute the vaccine, and the doctors and those on the front line should be the first to receive the Corona virus vaccine.”
Biden emphasized: “He has not spoken directly to Trump since the beginning of the electoral race and that his administration will not be a third term for Obama because the world has changed a lot during the Trump years.”
He added: “President Trump changed the scene, instead of America being the first, America is alone.”
The president-elect has indicated that he will make decisions on migration and climate change within the first 100 days of taking office.
Biden ended speculation about the Trump investigation after taking office, saying, “I will not do what this president is doing and I will use the Justice Department as a vehicle that I can drive to prove that something happened … What I am focusing on is returning the American public to a place where they have a certain certainty, a certain confidence and a certain knowledge. They can achieve that ”.
