For the past eight months, the “Laban” Association has presented performances to women and men in northern Lebanon, collecting their stories and experiences and recreating them through the collection of videos they shared on social media. There was a common path between these stories and the presentations, which generated a feeling among those responsible for them that it was important to continue the discussion to broaden the dialogue on common themes with a wider audience. Thus, today Wednesday there will be a digital session on the “Zoom” application under the title “Challenges of young women after the revolution”, which includes testimonies from the “Laban” team, as well as video clips of previous programs, as well as a open discussion on the topic. Please note that “theater as a tool for social cohesion” is part of the local development program in North Lebanon, implemented through the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in association with the “Laban” Association and the Ministry of Social Affairs, and jointly funded by the European Union and Germany.
