The interim government’s Minister for Displacement Affairs, Ghada Shreim, said in a radio interview that “extreme concern and caution are the title of the scenario,” saying: “It seems that the formation of the new government is difficult.”

Shreim said: “Under the pretext of bank secrecy, there are atmospheres in the country that are trying to deflect criminal scrutiny, and various parties seem to agree on the content and are looking into the matter,” and pointed out to Anan: “There is a political-banking lobby that wants to frustrate the issue of criminal scrutiny. “

And he considered that “the parliament was clearly inclined by the theory of the banks in issuing the financial plan without taking into account the government’s financial plan.” And he stressed that “the IMF was with the government’s plan and approved its numbers, and I am responsible for my words.”

And he considered that Parliament “hit us like a government, that is, the financial plan and Capital Control hit us.” And he believed that, unlike what is promoted, “the criminal audit contract was not born as a trap”, and pointed out that “everyone who today refuses to criminal audit hides behind the imagination of his finger.”

And she said: “We were surprised by the decision of the Al-Faris company to withdraw and the ruler, but not only the governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, but the entire system.

And he considered that “the withdrawal of” Alvarees “is a very idle signal for other international companies”, and said: “After the withdrawal of” Alvarees “, the whole country came under criminal scrutiny! “We are prohibited from doing what we do.”

He indicated that there are close benefits, including financial, with the company “Alvarees”, noting that “a response must be taken with the government in this context.”

Regarding the possibility of resorting to signing a new contract with a new company, he said: “For an interim government to sign a new criminal audit contract, legal jurisprudence is needed, especially since the government is an interim government.”

The political and media campaign complained against the Diab government, saying: “Our government has been distorted and the government came out“ tired ”, with the colloquial expression“ Settling our neighborhood ”, although we present a different model to previous governments.

She said: “I admit that what happened to the dating issue was a huge mistake, but the issue was too much.” In this context, and in relation to the audit issue, he added: “I believe that the opinion of the Central Council in the Banque du Liban is advisory and not binding.”

Shreim revealed that a lot of work is being done to collect data for the Lebanese state, saying: “As the Ministry of the Displaced, we headed the Rural Development Committee and started collecting data. Lebanon is a country that lives without ‘data’. In February it is supposed to complete the collection of “data” and distribute them to the different ministries. This is a joint effort in a single ministerial committee. “

On the issue of the approach that proposes to audit the accounts of the Banque du Liban in exchange for auditing account 36, Shreim said: “The account is 36 among the accounts of the Banque du Liban, and once we enter the account 36 judgments , we entered the account of the ministries ”. And he considered that “the Ministry of the Displaced does not make sense as of today, especially after the completion of the collection and refutation of files.”

He revealed corruption operations that had already occurred in the ministry in previous stages, and said: “In the wind of a 30-meter-high property, 12 people had requested it, 11 people were arrested, who were not from the wind! In other words, there is corruption and the central inspection is investigating the matter, and I will not advance the investigation.

And he continued: “In the Ministry of Displaced Persons, I handed over many files to the Central Inspection and I am trying to investigate in my ministry.”

On the subject of “Capital Control”, he considered that “it should have been approved immediately after the beginning of the crisis last October and the Minister of Finance decided that the matter should be in the BDL”.

In response to a question, he said: “I pose a question mark not to the Minister of Finance in person, but to the side behind him, any movement of hope, and demand an explanation on the issue of” Kroll “and the issue of Capital Control “.

Shreim saw that in the message that President Michel Aoun addressed to Parliament, “an attempt to tell the president that the governor of the Banque du Liban must deliver the required documents to the company.” She said: “The Financial Prosecutor and the General Prosecutor of Cassation had to advance on the issue of the delivery of documents to Al-Faris.

In response to a question about the sermon of the Maronite Patriarch, Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rai, and whether it included a “thirst” for the government, he said: “We were waiting for the Patriarch to also speak on the subject of criminal audit. . Every talk that deviates from criminal scrutiny is an attempt to distract the Lebanese.

In response to a question about whether he feared for the fate of criminal scrutiny after Hariri formed his government, he said: “I fear criminal scrutiny, because Hariri basically says that the governor of the Banque du Liban is a red line.” He indicated that “the governor of the Banque du Liban did not give the government clear answers.”

And he considered that “on the revolution, if you want to work” on assets, “you should focus on the issue of criminal scrutiny.
