While several law firms withdrew from the task of representing the President of the United States, Donald Trump, in his protracted challenges to the results of the presidential election, his personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, continued to lead the legal campaign efforts of the president, despite the lack of evidence of widespread fraud.
Trump now has a legal team whose members are:
Rudy giuliani
Giuliani assumed command of the United States attorney general’s office in southern New York state in the 1980s and later became mayor of New York in the era of the bloody events of September 11.
Giuliani began legally representing Trump in April 2018, regarding former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Giuliani played a key role in the events of the impeachment attempt that began in 2019, over allegations that the president had abused his position to advance personal political interests in his dealings with Ukraine.
Giuliani is investigating President-elect Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and their work in Ukraine.
Victoria Tunesing and Joe de Genova
They are a couple of lawyers who are helping Giuliani file cases challenging election results in states considered battlefields.
De Genova, a former District Attorney for the District of Columbia, had defended the theory that lawmakers tried to corner Trump when they investigated whether his campaign colluded with Russia in 2016, in which Mueller concluded that was not the case at the time.
Sydney powell
Powell is a former federal prosecutor who has appeared in recent years as a conservative pundit on Fox News and other outlets.
Trump tweeted praising Powell when Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn indicted her in her criminal case that Mueller had brought.
In November, Powell launched the Legal Defense Fund, in an attempt to stop the approval of the results of American elections in Michigan, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and Wisconsin.
Without providing proof, Powell said millions of votes were “transferred” from Trump to Biden, through a program designed to “rig” the election. However, election security officials said last week: “There is no evidence that any voting system has removed or lost votes or changed votes.”
Gina ellis
Ellis is one of Trump’s top legal advisers and Trump’s personal attorney.
Ellis, who belongs to the evangelical community, wrote “The Legal Foundations of a Moral Constitution”, which he wanted as a guide for Christians, in 2015.
