On the eve of forty days after the tragedy of August 4, 2020, a group of Lebanese would like to pay tribute to the victims of this disaster and fulfill their “duty to preserve memory” near the port of Beirut, the day after tomorrow Saturday, under the motto # Beirut Remember. Greetings, you will transmit with text, images and music a message of courage, contemplation, love and hope. 250 singers from all regions of Lebanon belonging to the choirs of “The Antonine University”, “Our Lady of Louaize”, “Al-Fayhaa” and “Al-Mabarat”, will join their voices with an orchestra of 30 musicians. This is carried out in the presence of Fadia Tomb Al-Hajj, Rifat Tarabay and Omar Rahbani, and with the participation of Tania Saleh and Zad Dirani, in addition to the testimonies of Gabriel Yared, Abdel-Rahman Al-Basha, Wajdi Moawad and Amin Maalouf. Jean-Louis Mengi will design the art, with the name Christ directing. The concert will be filmed live by lbci, to be broadcast simultaneously on all local channels, while it will also reach social media, YouTube and other digital platforms.
