The director of the Catholic Media Center, Father Abdo Abu Kassem, announced that the faithful are eager to participate in the divine masses inside the churches, especially during the festive period, but he made it clear that based on the directives of the General Secretariat of the Council of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops in Lebanon and regarding preventive measures from the Crown epidemic, churches are open to celebrate Palm Sunday and to relive Good Friday and Easter Mass briefly while adhering to social distancing measures during Masses and that the percentage of participants does not exceed 30 percent of the absorptive capacity of the churches, taking care to wear masks, sterilize churches and not transfer books into the hands of the faithful and cancel the rituals, as long as the masses and the ranks of those who suffer continue will be broadcast on communication sites: Social networks, T screens V Lebanese and Church, Nour Sat, Tele Lumiere and Charity TV.
Father Abu Kusem highlighted the need to avoid family gatherings on holidays and limit gatherings to members of the same family within the same household and the need to take the maximum necessary preventive measures.
He concluded by calling on the faithful to register on the vaccination platform and obtain it so that we can gradually return to our normal life and practice our rituals and parties in a natural way.
