The coronavirus continues to spread in Lebanon, claiming more victims and injuries, at a time when hospitals are suffering from full beds.
The Corona virus set a new record in Lebanon today, Thursday, when the Health Ministry announced 1,550 new infections, bringing the cumulative number of infections to 58,645 cases.
The new infections were distributed among 1,471 cases among residents and 79 among arrivals.
Two deaths were also recorded, bringing the cumulative number to 501 since the outbreak of the pandemic began last February.
The Rafic Hariri University Hospital daily report was published on the latest developments on Coronavirus / Covid-19.
The report shows in numbers the cases present in the isolation and quarantine areas within the hospital. To find out the number of injured in all Lebanese lands, they are as follows:
– The number of tests performed in the hospital laboratories during the last 24 hours: 629
– The number of Coronavirus infected patients who are in the hospital for follow-up: 86
– The number of cases suspected of being infected with Coronavirus during the last 24 hours: 21
– The number of recoveries of patients in the hospital during the last 24 hours: 5
– Total recoveries of patients from inside the hospital from inception to date: 549 cases
– Number of cases that were transferred from the intensive care unit to the isolation unit after their condition improved: 2
Number of critical cases within the hospital: 29
Deaths: 2
