Kylie Jenner is no longer the highest paid celebrity on Instagram

For two years in a row, Kylie Jenner was the top earning star when it comes to Instagram, racking up an average of $ 1.27 million per sponsored post.

Although she’s still making a lot of money for her posts today, it turns out the makeup mogul’s earnings declined slightly, and he’s no longer the highest-paid celebrity on Instagram. Instead, the honor now falls to another famous influencer who happens to be the highest-paid actor in Hollywood.

Kylie Jenner average estimated earnings fell after Forbes controversy

For the past two years, Jenner has had the title of “youngest self-made billionaire” in the world. Although many discussed the “self-made” aspect, no one really questioned Jenner’s huge net worth, considering her lucrative beauty business, her involvement in keeping up with the Kardashians, and its luxurious lifestyle.

But in May 2020, Forbes, who named the makeup mogul as the “youngest self-made billionaire,” revoked her billionaire status after accusing her of forged official tax documents and lying about her wealth.

In a shocking report titled “Inside Kylie Jenner’s Web of Lies, and Why She Is No Longer a Billionaire,” Forbes said Jenner and her mother, Kris Jenner, inflate the success of her beauty company, Kylie Cosmetics. They also alleged that the makeup mogul is not as well as he had led everyone to believe.

“Kylie’s business is significantly smaller and less profitable than the family that has spent years leading the cosmetic industry and the media,” the outlet reported.

After reassessing his annual earnings, Forbes estimated Jenner’s actual net worth to be less than $ 900 million.

Almost two months after Forbes released that scathing report, Jenner found herself missing another title she’d held onto for years: the highest-paid # 1 star on Instagram.

According to Hopper HQ’s fourth Annual Instagram List, the makeup mogul no longer ranks first as his estimated earnings per post fell 22% after the Forbes controversy.

Instead of earning around $ 1 million per post as she did before, Jenner now earns an estimated average of $ 986,000, placing her at No. 2 on the Hopper HQ ranking.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is now the highest-paid star on Instagram

After calculating the number of celebrities earned per Instagram post for 2020, Hopper’s headquarters has crowned its new star with the highest earnings.

According to Hopper, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is now the highest-paid star on Instagram. Apparently, the actor is the only star to earn more than $ 1 million per post on average.

Footwear News reports that Johnson’s estimated price per Instagram post has grown 15% from last year when he earned an average of $ 882,000, reaching # 6 on Hopper’s Instagram Rich List.

As a partner with U.S. sportswear maker Under Armor, Johnson often shares posts promoting shoes, clothing, and headphones under his Project Rock line. She also backs Teremana Tequila with her 188 million Instagram followers.

Just below Johnson and Jenner on Hopper’s Rich List is soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, who earns an estimated $ 889,000 per post.

Jenner’s older sister Kim Kardashian West ranked fourth on the list for the third year in a row, racking up an estimated average of $ 858,000 per post.
