[사회]National inspection of high-risk facilities begins … “Stop business even if you violate quarantine rules once”

The government has decided to inspect high-risk facilities across the country, such as entertainment establishments with a high risk of corona infection19, for two weeks from today (21).

In the metropolitan area, there are more inspection targets such as restaurants and cafes, and if you violate basic quarantine rules, such as wearing a mask or managing an access list at least once, you will be immediately suspended or fined.

The inspection of high-risk facilities will be carried out throughout the country until the 3rd of the following month.

11 types of facilities are eligible, such as clubs, entertainment businesses, singing practice rooms, indoor group sports facilities, and buffets.

As the use of multipurpose facilities increased after social distancing to the first stage eased, we will strengthen quarantine management as a preventive measure.

The metropolitan area is subject to greater management.

In addition to high-risk facilities, 16 types of multipurpose facilities are inspected and must comply with basic quarantine rules.

They include restaurants and cafes of more than 150m2, amusement parks, cinemas, computer cafes, wedding halls and religious facilities.

If a quarantine rule, such as wearing a mask or managing an access list, is revealed to be violated at least once, the business will be immediately suspended or fined.

Previously, it was mandatory to limit the number of people to one person for every 4 square meters in the five entertainment facilities, such as clubs, collaterals and great bars.

Government policy is to review additional restrictions in cases where quarantine regulations are not properly followed or outbreaks occur.

The government recently decided to investigate the current quarantine status at more than 8,000 nursing hospitals, nursing facilities, and psychiatric hospitals across the country that have been followed by group infections.

In addition to the full inspection for workers and users of the facilities in the metropolitan area, we plan to check if the general rules are followed, such as the appointment of a quarantine manager or access control for external persons.
