Son Jung-woo requested a redemption review to reconsider whether the Indian arrest warrant, which was a crime against him, was reasonable.
The interrogation was held in private today at the Seoul High Court.
Mr. Son also attended court in a convoy at the detention center, but moved to a private passage and was not disclosed.
The private interrogation, which started at 10:30 a.m., ended in 15 minutes and is now awaiting the results.
According to the Rules of Criminal Procedure, the judge’s decision will be judged as soon as possible within 24 hours after the conclusion of the interrogation process.
When the judge accepts Mr. Son’s claim and makes the decision to subpoena him, Mr. Son is released from prison and returns home, and if denied, remains in prison.
Previously, Mr. Son was confirmed for one year and six months in prison for allegedly distributing sexual exploits while running a video welcome site on the Dark Web.
But before the sentence expired, the repatriation process began in earnest when the government accepted the United States’ extradition request.
First, at the request of the United States, the Justice Department ordered the prosecution to hand over extradition to the prosecution for non-overlapping international money laundering convictions and charges.
Subsequently, an arrest warrant was issued by the prosecution, and Son was reinstated on the 27th of last month, the expiration date of the sentence, and the prosecution immediately requested an extradition.
The interrogation date for the extradition request for a criminal offense that will determine whether Mr. Son is repatriated to the United States will open on the 19th.
The court must decide whether to hand it over within two months of the date of the arrest.
When the court makes the decision to grant extradition and the final approval of the Attorney General, US law enforcement agencies will take over Mr. Son’s recruits.
