Google is expanding the 30% commission it received from just ‘gaming apps’ to all apps.
Apple, which already receives commissions for all applications, is controversial because it is forced to pay its own payment method and receive a kind of “toll tax.”

If you install a 10,000 won game on the Google Play Store, Google will take 3,000 won.
Every time you download a game app or make multiple payments, 30% of the sales is deducted as commission.
Google is also promoting a plan to receive fees for applications like webtoons and videos.

Apple, which already receives a 30% commission on all applications, has created its own payment system and has been receiving a kind of toll tax for more than 10 years.
Recently, when a global gaming company created a payment system, the game application was removed from the App Store and completely banned from the iPhone world.

In the domestic application market, which is dominated by more than 85% of Google and Apple, most applications can only be paid for on systems provided by the two companies.
Google and Apple, which are struggling to pay the national internet network usage fee, raised more than 1 trillion won in fees in Korea last year this way.
