Before reelection in April, a series of polls showed that young people, especially in their twenties, support the candidate of the people’s force, Oh Se-hoon, more than the candidate of the Democratic Party, Park Young-seon.

Faced with this situation, Candidate Young-seon Park is involved in courtship campaigns against young people day after day, and Candidate Se-Hoon Oh is engaged in campaigning with young people in front of him, unlike before.

It is the votes of the angry young people that show a different trend than the previous elections in the by-elections of this mayor of Seoul.

In general, people in their twenties have given more power to the Democratic Party than to progressive people than to conservatives and the people.

However, a recent poll result showed that the approval rate of candidate Se-hoon Oh, the power of the people and Park Young-seon’s Democratic Party approval rate almost doubled.

It is an analysis that the heart of the 1920s turned upside down, starting with the just controversy around former Justice Minister Cho Kook, followed by the suspicion of speculation in LH, and the controversy over the ‘Nambul’ of government officials .

The fact that Democratic Party candidate Park Young-seon mentioned that his 20-year-old had little historical experience also fueled complaints from young people.

As the public sentiment of youth rarely returns like this, Candidate Park is running a youth campaign day after day and pouring out its promise of youth.

Youth Traffic Pass, Youth Half Price Data, and Youth Housing refer to one pledged youth per day.

On the other hand, candidate Se-hoon Oh, the power of the people, who has proven to have the upper hand, is putting young people at the forefront of the campaign.

It is a strategy to convey their anger directly, show sympathy, and gain support for themselves.

While the anger of the youth is not easily quenched, I am interested in which direction the youth vote will actually work, between the reflection of the Democratic Party and the power of the people to judge.
