The former and current judges who were involved in the Nongdan court incident appear before the courts where the first trial is scheduled.

This is the seventh sentence in the first and second trials combined only for the charge of “abuse of the authority of the judicial administration.” People are the targets.

They were charged with conspiring with the Chief Executive Officers of the Supreme Court, including former Supreme Court Chief Yang Seung-tae, to intervene in an administrative litigation of former United Progressive Party lawmakers or leak information on the case.

Among them, the judges were acquitted of the titular judges Chang-Hyun Bang and Sang-cheol Shim, but the remaining two who took off their legal uniform were found guilty.

Former director Lee Min-geol was sentenced to 10 months in prison, two years of probation, and former member Lee Gyu-jin, one year and six months in prison and three years of probation.

The judges noted that in the first place, the judges noted that he committed serious crimes that raised doubts about the fairness of the trial, by instructing former chief Lee Min-geol to dismantle the meeting of the Judiciary critical of the judicial administration and instruct the judge. in charge of the case of the National Assembly to know the guilt of the court in charge of the case.

In addition, former Commissioner Gyu-jin Lee decided that the charges of intervening in an administrative litigation related to the Unified Progressive Party were recognized by sending a judge to the Constitutional Court to gather information on important cases.

The judiciary also ruled that the two criminals conspired with former Supreme Court Chief Yang Seung-tae, Supreme Court Justice Go Young-han and Park Byung-dae, and former Vice Chairman of the Court Administration Department, Lim Jong-heon.

Jeon Lee Min-geol, who was convicted, avoided an immediate answer to the question of whether to admit the charges.
