As a senior LH executive, who served as head of Jeonbuk headquarters, made an extreme decision last week, attention is being drawn to the ‘Gwangmyeong-Siheung expedition’ of its employees.

As a result of the YTN coverage, it was discovered that not only employees from the Jeonbuk region, but also family members and local residents began to speculate about the expeditions.

The land that appears to be speculative alone has 7 lots and quotes worth more than 4 billion won.

The land of Noonsa-dong, Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do, designated as a new city.

This is where Mr. A, an employee at LH’s Jeonbuk regional headquarters, bought it with his wife in February 2018.

However, that same day 2,600 square meters of land were also marketed right next to it.

4 people bought it together for 880 million won, and 3 of them have similar names as if they were sisters.

As a result of the YTN coverage, the three were found to be relatives of another employee B, who worked at LH’s Jeonbuk regional headquarters.

Mr. B bought the land in Noonsa-dong with his wife in December 2019 and is currently subject to a police investigation.

His wife, along with Mr. C, who is also B’s older brother and a former LH employee, bought another piece of land just one kilometer away.

In just one or two years, LH’s Jeonbuk headquarters employees, as well as his wife and relatives, bought the land one after another for the new development sites in Gwangmyeong and Siheung City.

In particular, even residents who lived in the same neighborhood were caught up in speculation about the expedition.

Just one month after B’s relatives, the three sisters, bought the land, four people bought the land in Noonsa-dong, about 2 km away.

The four residences are in Jeonju, Jeonbuk.

According to the newspapers, two of them live in the same apartment as employee B, and the others live in the same apartment and the same building as one of the three sisters.

From employees to local residents, just seven suspected expedition sites to the new cities of Gwangmyeong and Siheung are worth more than 4 billion won in market loans.

Police are investigating whether the executive was involved in the suspicion, as the term of the deceased senior executive’s tenure as head of Jeonbuk headquarters and the timing of employee speculation overlap.

Along with this, it seems necessary to investigate further if there was information within the LH during the expedition, what happened to the purchase process, relatives and neighbors.
