A two-story building in Gwarim-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do, which was selected as the planned site for the third new city development.

In April of last year, men and women in their 50s bought them together.

However, as a result of the YTN interview, the two’s names matched those of the co-owners of the land in Maehwa-dong, where LH employee Kang Mo and an acquaintance of them were suspected of having joint speculation. .

Both were residents who were compensated for the construction of a corporate rental housing district in Juam, Gwacheon in 2016.

At that time, I had frequent exchanges with Mr. Kang, who was in charge of compensation.

They had already bought not only Maehwa-dong, which is located on the outskirts of the new city, but also buildings on the planned development site.

I went to another building 100 meters away.

The building was sold in December of last year, two months before the announcement of the new city.

The owner is a woman in her 60s, another acquaintance of Mr. Kang.

He was also one of the residents of Gwacheon at the time.

There were rumors that Gwacheon residents were suspected of buying land that was neither new nor outstanding.

It is the story of the real estate industry that Mr. Kang, a former LH Gwacheon compensation team, reportedly gave information to residents who were dissatisfied with the compensation price to buy land in Siheung.

In fact, it was confirmed that two years ago there was a complaint at the Gwacheon City Council saying that compensation had not been received enough due to mismanagement by LH employees, including Mr. Kang.

It is estimated that high-quality information was provided to nearby residents to appease such complaints.

If the development information was leaked, it seems necessary to investigate further, such as to what extent it was leaked and if there was any trade-off.
