On the 27th, the first weekend after the start of vaccination against the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19), confirmed cases were followed in various parts of the country.
According to quarantine authorities and local governments such as the Seoul Metropolitan Government, a total of 307 new confirmed cases tested positive for Corona 19 in the country from 0 o’clock to 9 p.m. that day.
It is 67 less than the total of 374 at the same time the day before.
In the area where confirmed cases were found, 248 (80.8%) in the metropolitan area and 59 (19.2%) in the non-metropolitan area.

Out of 17 cities and provinces across the country, no cases have been confirmed in Jeonnam.
As there is still time until midnight, when the count closes, the number of new confirmed cases that are announced at 0:00 on the 28th is expected to increase further to reach the mid-300s.
The day before, after 9:00 p.m., the number of people increased from 41 to 415.
On weekends the number of inspections is lower than on weekdays, so there is a possibility that the increase will not be much greater than the previous day.
The number of new confirmed cases has remained in the range of 300 to 400 during the first week since the 21st. Per day, 416 people → 332 people → 356 people → 440 people → 396 people → 406 people → 415 people, an average than 394 people per day.
There is no sharp increase, but there is no clear decrease.
In particular, quarantine authorities are keeping an eye on the situation, as group infections continue to occur in various locations ahead of the school opening next week.

In the case of major infections on this day, in the metropolitan area, 13 people successively tested positive in the contact investigation process after the first confirmed case (indicator patient) occurred the day before in relation to the textile manufacturing industry in Yangju city. Gyeonggi Province, resulting in a cumulative 14.
In addition, 12 people were confirmed in the furniture manufacturing industry in Gwangju, Gyeonggi, and 13 people were confirmed in recycling companies in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi province.
In the non-metropolitan area, the cumulative number of confirmed cases related to the cricket boiler manufacturing plant in Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do increased to 198, and the number of confirmed cases related to the liner life call center in Seo -gu, Gwangju increased to 51.
Meanwhile, an employee of the Ministry of Health and Welfare working in the Sejong government building was also confirmed. The official said that this employee is not at the executive level and is not affiliated with the Accident Response Headquarters that supports Corona 19’s quarantine management.
