Yes, the British government announced that as of the second local time, the number of new confirmed cases of corona19 increased by 5,700 during the day.

It is the largest daily since the first spread began in March last year.

For five days in a row, the number of new confirmed cases exceeded 50,000.

It is an analysis that the increase in confirmed cases is affected by the mutant virus, which has greater transmission power than the existing Corona 19 virus.

There were 445 new deaths in the UK last day.

As a result, the cumulative confirmed cases rose to 2,599,000 and the cumulative number of deaths increased to 74,000.

The UK is about to open primary school starting Monday tomorrow.

While the spread of the coronavirus has not abated, there is a growing voice in the UK educational community that online classes need to be held remotely.

I am concerned about the mutant UK virus. What is the current global spread?

[기자]

Yes, the mutant UK virus is spreading rapidly across the world, including Africa, Asia, North, Central and South America, beyond Europe.

The New York Times reported that the number of countries with mutant viruses has so far risen to 33.

Especially over the weekend, the first cases of infection were reported in China and Turkey, all of them coming from the UK.

Furthermore, in the case of the United States, it turned out that people infected with the mutant virus from Colorado and Florida had no travel history.

Local health authorities see it as an indication of the possibility that it is already present in the community.

The number of countries prohibiting entry from the UK has risen to more than 40, and some countries have also imposed restrictions on entry from other countries where the mutant virus has been found.

While every country blocks it, there is growing anxiety that the mutant virus is spreading much more than has been identified so far.
