The Korean government has already signed a vaccine contract with AstraZeneca for 20 million doses. The UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Authority (MHRA) is reported to be deliberating to approve the emergency use of the AstraZeneca vaccine even during the Christmas holidays. The British Daily Telegraph reported the day before that approval for emergency use could be announced later that day.
