Kim Jong Un’s sister Kim Yoo Jong returned for the first time in months

Kim Yoo-jong, the sister of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, made her first appearance in state media this month, according to a new report, after losing a series of threats against South Korea.

Citing the state’s Korean Central News Agency, Bloomberg reported on Friday that Kim Yoo Jong was with his brother and other top activists when they inspected reconstruction work to repair damage caused by the recent floods.

Kim Jong Un, who has rarely been seen in public this year alone, has been the subject of rumors since April that he either died in vegetation – or hid to avoid catching the coronavirus.

It is also reported that her younger sister will take the key to the Hermit Kingdom due to Kim’s alleged inability to rule.

Kim Yoo-jong has recently led a series of provocations against South Korea – most recently in June, when Pyongyang blew up a joint liaison office north of the border built in 2018 as a symbol of reconciliation between the two countries, which is still technically closed. In the war, Bloomberg reported.

But his brother then reversed his course in late June, scrapping plans to provoke against South Korea.

In July, Kim Yoo-jong delivered a message that North Korea had no intention of holding a meeting with President Donald Trump, and he vowed to stop imposing sanctions on the state.

After that, she did not show up at the two key meetings of the ruling Workers Party held in August Gust – the report said, focusing on the principles that she has fallen out of favor.

But Rachel Minung Lee, an independent political analyst and former U.S. government employee who focuses on areas related to North Korea, told Bloomberg that was not the case.

“The list of accompanying officers in today’s report indicates that she has not been excluded,” Lee said.

“We never know what happened during her last two months of absence, but I don’t think she was punished,” Lee said, pointing out that the national campaign against South Korea could be without her. ” Top leader approval.
