SAN ANDREAS, CA – While government Gavin News unveiled a new coronavirus 4-tier color coded system for starting and closing businesses in counties across the state, 13 new cases were reported in Calavers County.
The new system, as detailed in the previous story here, puts the county at a significant (red) level. Coronavirus Friday Public Health Officer Dr. “Some non-essential indoor business operations, starting Monday, August 31st, will be open and some will be closed,” reports Dean Kellitt. Dr. Kelita did not give a written update on what business this could be in.

“As air quality improves and people move out, please remember the importance of taking all the steps we know to slow and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community. If we continue to take this seriously and stay awake, we will be able to turn it around, ”said Dr. Kelaita. “Practice physical distance, cover face, test, wash hands frequently, stay home if you are sick, and avoid any gatherings where physical distance and masking do not occur.”
To date, there have been 236 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kew Leverus County. Of those, 203 have since recovered while 31 cases are active. There have been two coronavirus-related deaths in the county.
