Kanye West There’s a new vision in the music industry to look like a record deal – and its guidance is heavy in favor of the artist and making them money.
You’ve tweeted too many columns that we think the record label will have its own terms and conditions as an excerpt – except that this one believes that the whole biz state should be adopted … so that artists can stop hanging wrong and stay right Share the product they put out.
Initially, Kanye says artists can automatically own the songs and recordings they have for their ideal world label, and they will only lease them to companies for a maximum period of one year.
He also says that the record label / publisher will not get a lion’s share of any profits during that one year … You think it should be split 80/20 in favor of the artist.
There is more. Kanye also thinks that artists shouldn’t have to re-hang anyone because they’re exploring their own deals – because he thinks that if you’re working in music, you should understand it from top to bottom, without any help. He doesn’t want to talk to a lawyer but wants to write the contract in plain English. He says lawyers should make things easier … not guarantee the process.
It seems basic and logical but t does not exist. They focus on top earners and see Zero at 440 stores. Just the top few. Artists are global. That is why their agreement region is called global
Royalty section in each label. No more finance will separate teams from music

@ Kanye West
He goes on to say that artists deserve equity in the companies they partner with, and that their songs and licenses should act as stock in one way or another. Kanye also wants it to be a one stop shop for artists, royalties, deals, property, songs, etc.
Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either. He made it clear that clear artists should also have power.
