President Trump, who hosted West at the Oval Office in 2018, praised him in recent weeks, but denied any connection to his presidential ambitions when questioned by reporters last week.
“I love him. He has always been very kind to me,” said the president, adding, “I get along very well with him. I like him. I love his wife.”
