“I think there’s no question about it,” House Majority Whip James Clyburn (DS.C.) said of the possibility on MSNBC on Friday. “We saw what happened in Wisconsin, where he got help getting the vote. But African Americans, in particular, know what this campaign is all about.”
In an interview with Forbes on the same day, a reporter pointed out to West that he will not be voting in enough states to secure the 270 election votes needed to win the White House.
“I will not argue with you. Jesus is king,” the rapper replied.
When the Forbes interviewer West pressed on the possibility that he could digitize Biden’s votes, he replied, “I do not deny it.”
President Trump, who hosted West at the Oval Office in 2018, praised him in recent weeks, but denied any connection to his presidential ambitions when questioned by reporters last week.
“I love him. He has always been very kind to me,” said the president, adding, “I get along very well with him. I like him. I love his wife.”
