Kanye West Files Petition for Missouri Vote, Looks at New York State

Kanye West submitted documents Monday to appear on the Missouri ballot in November, and is also making a final effort to run for president in New York, rich in voters, The Post has learned.

According to the Kansas City Star, West’s independent presidential campaign released signatures to the Missouri Secretary of State just before the 5 pm deadline.

Officials must now verify that the signatures come from at least 10,000 registered voters in order for West to appear on the ballot.

The 43-year-old rapper would need 30,000 valid signatures by Thursday to reach the Empire State ballot, and he’s been working to make that happen, according to a congressional candidate.

Josh Eisen, who is seeking to run on an independence line for Congressional District 17 in the Hudson Valley, said West is paying his team of pollsters to help him.

Eisen said he is not personally taking money from West for the petition, although his sponsors are.

“They were very generous,” Eisen said of the West team. “As good as one might expect from an outgoing preacher. And more. My tellers should get it right. “

An independent party nomination petition for West shows him trying to compete in his new “Birthday Party” line, with Michelle Tidball, a Cody, Wyoming-based “biblical life coach” as his vice president.

“I never thought I would be helping to facilitate access to the ballot for Kanye West,” joked Eisen.

The Chicago-born sneaker tycoon suddenly announced on July 4 that he intended to throw his hat at President Trump and Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.

Despite his late entry into the race, and a first campaign speech in South Carolina that raised concerns about his mental health, West seems serious about his candidacy for the White House.

Earlier this month, he submitted the $ 35,000 fee to appear on the November 3 ballot in Oklahoma and documentation of the Statement of Organization with the Federal Election Commission.

West’s troubled state of mind has been on display for the past few weeks, with a series of troubling tweets, likely stemming from his bipolarism, according to his wife, Kim Kardashian.

The 21-Grammy-winning rapper reportedly visited a Wyoming hospital out of anxiety over the weekend after publicly apologizing to Kardashian for spiraling on Twitter.
