Kangana Ranaut claims Mahesh Bhatt almost beat her for rejecting the movie about ‘heroism of a suicide bomber’ – bollywood

Kangana Ranaut has claimed that Mahesh Bhatt was violently enraged when he rejected his production, Dhokha, which was about a woman who becomes a suicide bomber after being subjected to atrocities by the police. She said he almost assaulted her and was detained by her daughter, Pooja Bhatt.

In an interview with Republic TV, Kangana spoke about the release of Mahesh in her production, Gangster. “Well, I’m grateful, but that doesn’t give them the right to call me crazy and psychotic and throw chapters at me. Mahesh Bhatt threw a chappal at me, ”he said.

According to Kangana, when he was doing Gangster and Woh Lamhe with the Bhatts, Mahesh called her to his editing studio and offered her Dhokha. She did not believe in the ideology of the film, which she felt represented the “heroism of a suicide bomber.” She said: “Even at 18, I had a lot of common sense. I said, ‘If you are tortured, there is a lot you can do. You can join the army or the police. Why do you have to become a suicide bomber? I said no to that movie. “

Mahesh did not take Kangana’s decision well and allegedly “yelled” at him. “She was literally about to come to me like she was going to hit me or something. Her daughter stopped her and said, “Dad, don’t do it.” I escaped somehow, ”she said.

The shoe incident allegedly took place during Woh Lamhe’s trial. Kangana claimed that Mahesh did not allow him to attend the screening of his own film. “She came to the front door of the theater and kicked me out. Yelled at me. I was still trying to sneak in because I wanted to see my movie. She released a cappal. Two people took him inside, ”he said.

Kangana said the film industry was suffering from a “mob hangover” and could not bear it when a film offer was rejected. “Why can’t I say no if I want to? These people are still in the hangover of the mafias, that ‘bhai ko mana nahi kar sakte’ otherwise you will be shot dead. That has to end in this film industry, “he said.
