Justin Hartley’s ex-wife, daughter defends herself in the middle of the ‘Selling Sunset’ backlog

Justin Hartley’s ex-wife and her daughter defended the “This Is Us” star after his ex-wife, Chrishell Stause, said he told her via text last year about their divorce.

Lindsay Hartley, who was married to Justin from 2004 to 2012, and her 16-year-old Isabella shared their support on social media after the final season of ‘Selling Sunset’ with a clip from Stause saying that Justin told her informed about their divorce via text message – causing backlash from fans.

“In a day where social media should be used for positive … an inspiration for movement in an honest and deserving way, I would like to participate, by highlighting my appreciation for my family,” Lindsay wrote in a statement on Tuesday. Instagram posted. ‘Today I appreciate my ex-husband Justin that I was not alone [an] example of a solid man, but to be my dear friend and devoted father to our daughter. Simply put; to be family. ”

She added, “We derive our own opinion about people through life and time together, and we do our best to keep those who consistently maintain kindness, love and generosity.”

The actress pointed out that although she and Justin had their ups and downs, she stands by him.

“No matter what conflicts Justin and I have had in the past, I appreciate what we have today and am grateful for the family we have built,” she said.

Isabella has re-posted her mother’s message to her own Instagram account.

Justin, 43, and Lindsay, 42, hit a set of soap opera “Passions.”

Stause appeared to respond to Lindsay’s statement by posting a cryptic message to her Instagram story.

“Be the woman who fixes another woman’s crown without telling the world that it was crooked,” the quote read. She then added her own text, “Women who build each other up are my tribe.”

Later last year, Justin filed for divorce from Stause after two years of marriage.

But it wasn’t until last week when the third season of ‘Selling Sunset’ premiered that the 36-year-old Stause revealed how her breakup was likely to go downhill.

‘Um, I found out because he has text[ed] me that we submitted, ”Stause had told her co-star Mary Fitzgerald. “Thirty-five minutes later the world knew.”

The real estate agent said she was fired by his decision and wanted answers.
