Justin Bieber sues libel for sexual assault claims

Justin Bieber has stepped up his rebuttal of the new sexual assault allegations by filing a $ 20 million defamation suit against two Jane Does on Twitter that accused him of assault in 2014 and 2015, summarizing his testimonies as “scandalous lies” that are ” probable manufactured “and” actually impossible “.

In a complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, the pop star said he has “indisputable documentary evidence” that social media users made up his stories. The lawsuit, filed by celebrity attorney Martin Singer, said Bieber is taking legal action “to clear his name and make things clear.”

The “Yummy” singer publicly addressed the allegations on Twitter over the weekend, noting that “sexual abuse is something I don’t take lightly,” and shared his denial of the allegations, as well as multiple receipts that contradicted an account.

In the lawsuit, Bieber, 26, claims that Jane Does “fraudulently planned to seek attention and fame by maliciously publishing despicable, blatantly false, false and defamatory allegations” that he had committed sexual assault.

The old YouTube phenomenon is looking for $ 10 million from each of the defendants, who identify themselves on social media as Danielle (@danielleglvn) and Kadi (@ItsnotKadi). He believes it could also be the same person using separate social media accounts, the complaint says.

Danielle, whose Twitter account has since been deleted, tweeted this month that Bieber sexually assaulted her at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas, after her surprise performance at the SXSW music festival on March 9, 2014. She was 21 years old and Bieber was 20 at the time, the complaint says.

However, Singer argues that Bieber neither had a room nor stayed at the hotel in question, and that there is “documentary evidence to dispute Danielle’s malicious lie.” He cites public accounts that Bieber dined at the hotel the following night, which he claims was the basis of the indictment, but says Bieber left SXSW with then-girlfriend Selena Gomez, and stayed at a different rental property and hotel during his weather in Austin.

Similarly, Kadi’s allegations, tweeted on June 20, supported Danielle’s account and also accused the singer of sexually assaulting her at the Langham Hotel in New York City on May 5, 2015, at the time of that year’s Met Gala. The lawyer argues that Kadi is “an apparent superfan” who is waiting outside Bieber’s hotels and appearances and has previously written that she would pay him to rape her, according to tweets cited in the lawsuit.

Singer argues that his statements regarding the 2015 meeting are “factually impossible” and “contradicted by his own previous statements, supported only by falsified or falsified texts, and his allegations are a complete fabrication with the stated purpose of attracting fame and Attention . ”

The complaint also says numerous witnesses contradict his account, and that Bieber was attending a post-Met Gala party at the time he alleges the assault.

“It is very clear that these two people are trying to capitalize on the climate of fear that pervades the entertainment industry, Hollywood, and corporate America, making it an open season for anyone to make any claim (no matter how vile, without supportive and demonstrably false)) about anyone without consequences, “says the complaint.
