Justin Bieber reschedules world tour for 2021 and adds new dates

Get ready to get concert tickets, Beliebers! Justin Bieber announced today (July 23) that he will officially begin his world tour next summer.

He postponed his entire international outing in support of his fifth studio album. Changes before its start date of May 14 due to the coronavirus pandemic. It now begins June 2, 2021 at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, enveloping the United States and its Canadian homeland, before officially calling it August 15 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.

“I can’t wait to go out and connect with my fans on this tour,” Bieber said in a statement. “We’ve been through a lot this year. More than ever, we’ve come to understand how much we need each other and how meaningful these moments can really be.”

Production of the redesigned tour means it won’t stop at any stadium as originally planned, but it will make 19 new stops at the arena in New York, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, and more cities. Supporting artists Kehlani and Jaden Smith will no longer accompany Bieber, and new guest acts will be announced at a later date.

Tickets for the new shows will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, August 6 at 10 am local time, which can be found here. One dollar will be donated for each ticket purchase to the Bieber Foundation, which is committed to supporting mental health awareness. A limited number of exclusive VIP packages will also be available, including seated reserved tickets, custom merchandise, tour souvenirs, and more.
