Justin Bieber is suing two women for defamation after he was charged with sexual assault.
Last week, two Twitter accounts tweeted complaints about incidents that allegedly occurred in 2014 and 2015.
Bieber denied the claims and promised to speak on Twitter to urge the social media giant to take legal action.
The 26-year-old singer filed a $ 20 million (£ 16.2 million) lawsuit in Los Angeles on Thursday, describing the allegations as “fabricated lies.”

An account of a woman known only as Danielle claimed that she was attacked by Bieber at a hotel in Austin, Texas on March 9, 2014.
She claims that after a surprise performance in front of a crowd at a bar, Bieber invited her and two friends to a Four Seasons hotel.
Danielle later claims that they took her to a private room at the hotel and assaulted her.
Her tweets have been removed, however the screenshots have been shared on social media.
In response to the claims, Bieber shared screenshots of articles from the day the alleged assault occurred, showing him with his then-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
He says they did not stay at the Four Seasons Hotel. Bieber shared a screenshot of a tweet that claimed he was seen at a restaurant inside a Four Seasons hotel on March 10, the day after the alleged assault.
“Although Bieber went to the restaurant, he did NOT stay at the Four Seasons Hotel,” the lawsuit said.
Another woman who identified herself as Kadi alleged on Twitter that she was sexually assaulted by Bieber at a New York hotel in May 2015.
The lawsuit says her accusation is false and that she had fabricated her accusation “out of her desire for fame and attention.”
She claimed that women were “trying to capitalize on the climate of fear that pervades the entertainment industry, Hollywood, and corporate America, making it an open season for anyone to make any claim (no matter how vile, unsupported, and demonstrably false) about someone without consequence. “
