Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s HitRecord reveals Commander ‘Project Power’ Song written by the world


The new movie from Netflix, Project power, tells the story of a city taken over by a dangerous drug that loses five minutes of superhuman capabilities.

Featuring an all-star cast including Jamie Foxx, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dominique Fishback, Machine Gun Kelly and more, the action-packed movie is already one not to be missed, but the message is carried further. Netflix partnered with Gordon-Levitt’s HitRecord, an online creative collaboration community, calling on individuals worldwide to “define power.”

The final product, an original song and video to accompany the film, made entirely by people all over the world, was released today (August 21) and it features 81 employees who take what they see as real power.

The rap cypher finds creatives of all ages, races and backgrounds unite under their definition of power, whether that be intelligence, friendliness, knowledge or overcoming opposition.

“When I’m in a movie that’s coming out, it’s always fascinating to see what people are saying online about it, what wonderful and kind of soul – can be, to be honest,” Gordon-Levitt said of the project in a statement to Billboard. “But seeing and hearing people with heartbreaking creativity inspired by the film? That’s pretty uplifting to me. It’s so much more intense gratification than any other feedback, good reviews, good numbers, what I’ve said before. turns again – for me one of the biggest victories as an artist is to inspire someone else to express themselves.I am sincerely grateful to everyone who worked on this song and music video, and I am super proud of what we all did together . ”
