Jon Moxley withdraws from AEW Dynamite after potentially exposing himself to COVID-19

There’s another change made in tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Tony Khan announced that Jon Moxley had contact with someone who had contact with someone who has COVID-19. Moxley was slated to be in action tonight, but, just to be cautious, he pulled out of tonight’s show.

Moxley is slated to defend his AEW World Championship against Brian Cage at Fyter Fest.

Cage (with Taz in his corner) will be in action tonight at Dynamite. As noted above, QT Marshall was scheduled for tonight’s show, but had brief contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, so he will stay home and be tested.

Here is Khan’s full statement on Moxley:

“Recently @ JonMoxley had contact with someone who had contact with someone who has COVID-19. Mox did the right thing and warned us. Doc asked him to stay home and get tested to protect us here on our test site. Cage will be in action tonight on #AEWDynamite before his title fight. “
