It’s great to see the faces of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner again! For the first time since becoming parents, the couple posed for a cute photo on Joe’s Instagram Story.
Parenting looks good Joe Jonas, 30, en Sophie Turner, 24! The new parents revealed their faces for the first time on social media since welcoming their baby girl, Willa, on July 22nd. For her comeback photo, for the first time parents used the filter “Vogue Challenge” available on Instagram Stories and posed for their cover of the mock magazine.
Both Sophie and Joe appeared sleepy – and understandably so – because they gave direct expressions to the camera. However, they have an important PSA to share with their fans. “WEAR A MASK … THATS THE TEA,” Joe wrote for his headline of the pretend magazine, which he shared on his Instagram Story on August 7th.
Once you can deduce from that headline, Joe and Sophie do not take this pandemic lightly. ‘Joe is the proudest new dad of all time and he can’t wait for all his friends to meet his baby girl. But at the moment they have no friends left because they want to be super careful, ‘said a friend of Joe and Sophie’s EXCLUSIVELY HollywoodLife at the end of July.
“Instead, Joe and Sophie” send everyone pictures and do a lot of video chatting, “our insider added.” They’re just extra careful and protective about passing on friends, because the baby’s immune system has yet to mature. For now, it is strictly family, ”the source further explained.
Unfortunately, this does not mean Joe’s brother Nick Jonas, 27 – who has Type I Diabetes – has not tried his niece. The singer and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, are under strict quarantine. “Nick and Joe are best friends, and [Nick] never imagined he could not be there before the birth of Joe’s first child, ”a source close to Nick also told EXCLUSIVELY HollywoodLife. However, Joe is still “FaceTiming Nick and sending him photos to keep him informed”, our source assured.
While this is the first social media photo we’ve seen since Joe and Sophie since the baby’s arrival, Joe’s been on Instagram since he became a dad! He reminded his 13.1 million Instagram followers to register to vote on July 26, and shared a Red Cross switch for fans to help the victims of the Beirut explosion in Lebanon on August 5. We love an awake dad!
