Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez say they are still together, ‘working through some things’

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have announced that they are living together.

Reports circulating on Friday that the couple had ended their four-year relationship, they issued a joint statement to NBC News through their representative on Saturday.

“All the reports are false. We are working through some things.”

Earlier Saturday, multiple sources close to the couple said: “They never officially broke up and talked about it, but they’re still together. They hit a rough patch that made them think about what to do. They’re sticking together, they’re working. Through things. “

Lopez, 51, is currently shooting the film in the Dominican Republic while Rodriguez, 45, is in Miami.

“It’s especially tough quarantining and seeing Covid with each other, but they live together,” the source said. “It’s important for them to continue to be together.”

The celebrity couple has already postponed their marriage twice due to the Kovid-19 epidemic.

“We’ve talked about it for sure. I mean, at our age, we’ve both been married before, that is, should we get married? Don’t we? What does that mean for us?” Lopez told Andy Cohen on SiriusXM Radio Andy. “It was really sad because we had to get married in June and we were all planning it. So in March or April, we’re looking for a pipe and we’re going, ‘Maybe that doesn’t happen.’ Italy is the worst place in the world. And we were getting married in Italy. It was, yes, it was, I was like, ‘OK, we canceled everything.’

The Bronx-born Puerto Rican singer and actress added that they “tried to re-group a few months ago,” but that “it’s still not the right time.”

Lopez and Rodriguez have been engaged for two years.
