Good Morning America reports that Aniston and Pitt were created by their agents in 1998. Both established celebrities at the time, their budding romance became routine material for tabloid covers. By committing in 1999 and heading out into the hall in July 2000, the two were crowned the Hollywood golden couple who thrived on an apparently perfect marriage.
Pitt landed the starring role in the 2005 film. Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Jolie, where rumors of infidelity soon began to spread. Pitt and Aniston announced their breakup that year, and Pitt’s relationship with Jolie was made public.
