This year the “common college entrance examination” was introduced in place of the college entrance examination center exam. Manabu Murata, an international education critic who took the exam, said: “I found out that cancer in Japanese education is a national language. If the format of the national language questions does not change, the ability to think and expressiveness will not change. will develop. ” What are the problems I felt during the national language test?

Try the common test

On January 16, as an examinee, I was at the test site for the first college entrance exam.

He is currently 47 years old. As an international education critic who has experienced the center exam twice in the past, I decided to take the “common exam”, which is the centerpiece of the government-sponsored college entrance examination reform.

By the way, I had a lot of friends who were concerned because I was the student (who was later released) who was disqualified from the mask during the exam and was arrested in the bathroom, but not me. During the test, my ears hurt when I was wearing a mask all the time and was sloppy, but luckily they didn’t notice me.

The corona crash test site that was wrapped in tension

My test site was the Minami Osawa campus of Tokyo Metropolitan University (Hachioji City). On the day of the event, in the passage of Minami Osawa Station closest to the test site, a loudspeaker was used to shout, “Please stay away from the person in front of you.”

In front of the front door, students sanitize their hands and undergo an exam ticket verification. After that, I went to the classroom to take the exam, but after confirming the body temperature control and the corona measures placed in front of the building, I sanitized my hands again with the disinfectant solution placed in front of the classroom.

The author took the exam in the large conference room. When I opened the door, I saw about 200 examinees, but there was no noise. The place was covered in silence and there was a feeling of tension that made coughing difficult.

In the center exam I took 30 years ago, I talked to my peers and acquaintances in high school during breaks and had lunch together on campus. However, the common test for crown disease is disinfection, wearing a mask, and not talking. Except when they went to the bathroom, examinees had to be in their seats, and it was like a funeral all day.
