The signature book presented to the Aichi Prefectural Election Commission by Katsuya Takasu, director of the cosmetic surgery clinic “Takasu Clinic”, for the retirement of Governor Hideaki Omura of Aichi Prefecture, allegedly contains a large number of signatures counterfeit. It turned out that many of them Time workers had copied the list of names and addresses of citizens of Aichi to the signature list of the retirement activity group. A subcontractor for an advertising-related company in Nagoya seeks a part-time job through a major recruitment agency (Tokyo Headquarters). I had it copied in a rented conference room in the city of Saga.
According to people familiar with the matter, the signature book contained a photo of Director Takasu and Mayor Takashi Kawamura, who supported the activity, which was the same as the signature book used by the activity groups. On several days in October last year, a large number of part-time workers participated for several hours at a dozen hours per person with an hourly wage of 950 yen. Advertising-related companies are conducting an internal investigation into how the subcontractor received the work.
The advertising-related company offered to cooperate with the recall activities group and subcontracted the distribution of postcards requesting participation in the activity to a subcontractor in the city of Nagoya. A company executive said in an interview: “We are proceeding with an investigation to clarify the full picture, but at this time, we have not participated in the listing copy, and the subcontractor carried it out at our own discretion. Yes the police are investigating, I want to cooperate fully. “
Major recruitment agencies are expanding across the country and have sales offices in Kyushu. “I just received an order, I applied for a part-time job and I applied. I was not in a position to know the details of the job in advance. I am currently verifying the facts,” he said.
Director Takasu and his colleagues view the content of the exhibition at the Aichi Triennale, an international arts festival that was held in Aichi prefecture in 2019, as a problem. He called for the removal of Governor Omura, who was the chairman of the executive committee, and collected signatures for two months since the end of August last year. The number of signatures submitted to the jurisdiction of the prefecture was 435,334, which did not reach the approximately 866,000 required for the referendum.
After that, it was pointed out that the name was written without permission, and when the jurisdiction of the prefecture investigated, it was judged that 362,187 brushes, which is 83.2% of the submitted signatures, were not valid.
Around 90% of these invalid signatures were suspected to have been written by the same person and around 48% were not on the electoral list. The name of the person who had already passed away was also written.
