This is the golden tiger rookie! Teruaki’s infielder Sato (21 = Kindai University) hit a solo home run in the first at-bat in open play. Started in Enemy Ground Softbank game with “3rd Left Wing”. After two deaths, he was transferred from Softbank Ishikawa, who is the starting pitcher, to the left home run deck seat. The newcomer to the team made a shocking open battle debut since Hiroshi Yagi in 1987. He played for the first time in front of the fans and showed his full potential in first place in the draft.
Teruaki Sato’s questions and answers are as follows.
-Home runs in the opposite direction to the first at bat in open play
The Ishikawa pitcher is quick after catching (the ball), so be sure to keep up with him. It’s a home run deck, but I’m glad I got inside.
-It looked like it rubbed on a bat.
I agree. At first I thought it was really a flight to the left, but the audience was so excited that I could see it at a glance (laughs). It grew up unexpectedly and I’m glad I got in.
-I was the first spectator match
I think I was able to play well being aware of it. I was able to play as usual than I expected.
-Opponent is Ishikawa, Softbank’s opening pitcher and Mononov himself (commonly known as a fan of Momoiro Clover Z).
I wasn’t as aware of baseball, but I’m happy to hit with such a good pitcher.
-How did you feel about Ishikawa’s ball?
The second at-bat was also jammed with cuts (cut balls), so I felt like he was a high-level pitcher.
-Pay Pay Dome is a stage where you were unable to participate due to injury when you were Tigers Junior 10 years ago. Was there anything that was deeply moved?
At the time, I was a running back coach at third base, so I’m happy to be able to play on the same stage again.
-4 at bat, 2 hits The answer is
If you can catch it firmly, it will be a success. I wonder if I can increase that probability even more. I want to do my best there.
-What do you want to do?
Is it a response to change (sphere)?
-Enthusiasm from tomorrow
1 at bat 1 at bat so you can firmly appeal. I’d like to make sure the defensive base is attractive as well.
