The United Kingdom approved the new coronavirus vaccine for the first time in Europe and the United States. The use of the vaccine developed by Pfizer and Biontech of Germany was approved before the United States and the European Union (EU).

The UK paved the way for early approval with special rules for rush approval. Vaccines are expected to play an important role in the fight against the new Crown around the world. Pfizer and Biontech announced last month that their vaccines based on messenger RNA (mRNA) technology were 95% effective in the final analysis of data from clinical trials.

In late November, the British government issued a special rule that would allow it to make its own decisions without waiting for the EU’s European Pharmaceutical Agency (EMA) to make its own decisions.

The UK has ordered a dose of Physer Biontech vaccine that can be given twice to 20 million people. The two companies have supply contracts to the EU, the United States, Japan, etc.
