Mr. Musk tweeted on the 11th, “I take a chance on everyone else. If you arrest someone, ask me to do it alone.”

Before Tesla’s tweet, Tesla had told production workers that the Fremont plant would resume operations. Valery Capers Workman, the company’s human resources officer in North America, explained that production workers were notified by email that they had a 10-day temporary leave of absence, and within 24 hours that the manager would communicate the start date and time.
